About Dardanup Veterinary Centre

Liz Suter a Western Australian Murdoch University Veterinary Graduate (1983) was one of WA’s 1st female graduates to be keen on mixed rural practice. Liz started work at Bega (NSW) for about 9 years where gained a lot of experience in a large, busy vet practice while she lived and worked with a dairy family. She also worked in Goulburn Valley at a dairy practice (& equine) for 18 months; and Western Victoria in mixed practice and headed back to Western Australia in about 1990 to practice at Bunbury and Margaret River before setting up Dardanup Veterinary Centre in 2003. Liz was managing/advisor to Dairy Farm of the Year Victoria (2 years running) and awarded for outstanding service in Bega and achieved top milk producing cow in NSW. She gained membership exams through Sydney University in 1998. Liz now mostly treat dogs and cats with some sheep, goats, alpaca and cattle. Liz has always enjoyed the rural nature of Dardanup and proudly raised four children in the area (now grown up).

Jamie is one of our Senior Vet Nurses and comes from Canada. She has been in the industry for about 5 years now and has a great love for the job and the patients. She has been learning a lot about large animal medicine since working at Dardanup and has taken a huge interest in it. She is eager to learn more while she is living and working in Australia. Trained as a technician, Jamie also assists with x-rays, blood sampling, IV drips etc.

Jo is also a Senior Vet Nurse and is incredible with newborn puppies/litters etc and their mothers at birth but also very practical, strong and knowledgeable with large animal work.

Courtney has been involved with Dardanup Veterinary Centre for quite a few years as a Trainee Vet Nurse and a Groomer. Courtney has a wonderful love for the animals and is often talking to and laughing at them.

Tracy is a Vet Nurse in training, she has just started her courses to become certified. She has a great love for animals and is taking to her courses very well. Tracy looks forward to becoming a registered Vet Nurse in the near future and putting everything she is learning into her daily work with the patients.
