Microchipping

Microchipping is a permanent form of identification that is implanted in the back of the neck. In Western Australia it is compulsory by law to microchip your dog and cat.

Every microchip has a unique number which is then registered with a national Australian animal register, along with both your pets’ details and your contact information. If your pet goes missing, they can be scanned by a Microchip Scanner and if all the relative information is up to date, can be easily relocated back you.

We also offer the new Thermochip. This is a microchip that also includes a built-in thermometer that can read the subcutaneous temperature of your pet with a simple scan over their body.
